Dylan Joel: Hip-Hop Artist
Our inaugural Fresh Theatre Ambassador Hip-Hop star Dylan Joel is also our only ambassador to rise from within the ranks of Fresh. a facilitator and past staff member at the Bayswater Theatre. Dylan is known for his unique take on Hip-Hop, standing out from the crowd with his rare approach to topics covered, and the vocal styles he uses to execute his work. His realistic and upbeat outlook on life is strikingly obvious, and sit in strong collaboration with the ethos of Fresh.

His live show performances have allowed audiences to experience not only his natural charisma but also his musical versatility, often incorporating a live 4-piece band, or performing solo accompanied only by an acoustic guitar. Having performed a selection of international events, most notably selling out his headline show in Toronto Canada, plus numerous festivals including Pyramid Rock and St. Kilda Festival, Dylan Joel has earned his stripes on the live circuit and then some
Beginning his career in 2012, Dylan's first EP 'Kid Illin' featured the breakthrough single "Leveled" which received high rotation on triple j, and lead to the major win of triple j's 'Pyramid Rock' unearthed competition. This was followed by the release of the free album 'That's Good' featuring an impressive list of guest performances from REMi, Elemont & Jess Wills.
This dynamic and individual approach to Hip-Hop highlights his rebellious stance within the scene, and with his exceptionally tailored poetic talent and musical prowess, Dylan Joel continues to prove his worth to fans and peers.
